What does SpyGlow actually watch?
The public pages you pick on each competitor's site, like pricing, product and the homepage. It never logs in or reads anything behind a password.
How will I hear about a change?
By email and in the app when a change is important. On Pro and above, a weekly report sums up the week across all your competitors every Monday, and alerts can also go to Slack or a webhook.
Will it flood me with alerts?
SpyGlow scores every change it finds. On the free plan it only emails you about high-importance ones, and paid plans let you set the threshold per competitor.
What do I get for free?
2 competitors with 3 pages each, checked every day. Email alerts for important changes, a weekly report whenever you ask for one, 10 AskGlow questions and one battle card a month, and a first look at each competitor right after you add it. No credit card and no time limit.
How long does setup take?
Add your site and a competitor, pick the pages, and SpyGlow takes its first capture. You get a first look at the competitor as soon as setup finishes. How long the first capture takes depends on the site.
When would I need a paid plan?
When you want more competitors or pages, more frequent checks, section monitoring, Slack or webhooks, or more AskGlow questions. Pro starts at $59 a month.
Can my whole team use it?
The Teams plan includes 3 seats, up to 25, in one shared workspace. On other plans one person owns the account, and on Pro and above alerts can go to a shared Slack channel.
Is my data private?
Yes. Who you track, what SpyGlow captures and what you ask AskGlow stay in your account. We never share it, and we never pool or sell competitive data across customers.
01 · Pricing & billing
What happens when my free trial ends?
Your tracked data is preserved for 30 days. You can pick a paid plan to resume monitoring, or continue on the Free plan with 2 competitors and 1 domain. No credit card is charged automatically unless you opted into a paid trial.
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes, annual billing is offered on Pro, Growth, and Teams plans with roughly 17% off the monthly rate. You can switch between monthly and annual at any time from your billing settings.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancel from the billing page any time. Your subscription runs until the end of the billing period you already paid for, then stops. We do not prorate unused portions. Full refund and cancellation policy is on our dedicated page.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes, in three specific cases: duplicate charges, billing after cancellation, and material service downtime beyond 72 consecutive hours. Full conditions on our refund policy page.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The Free plan (2 competitors, 1 domain, daily monitoring) requires no credit card and no trial clock. Upgrade when you need more.
02 · Data & privacy
Do you train AI models on my data?
No. Your tracked competitor data, AskGlow conversations, and generated battle cards are used only to deliver the SpyGlow service to your account.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your data is preserved for 30 days after cancellation. After 30 days of inactivity on the Free plan, archived data is removed per our Privacy Policy. You can request immediate deletion at any time by emailing [email protected].
03 · Team access & roles
How many seats come with each plan?
Free, Pro, and Growth are single-seat accounts. Teams includes 3 seats by default and scales up to 25 seats with seat-based pricing. Each seat has its own sign-in, with owner and member roles.
What can team members do?
On Teams plans, you can assign roles. Owners manage billing and settings. Members can view competitors, read battle cards, and get assigned to action items.
Can I invite contractors or clients to a shared workspace?
Yes, on Teams. Everyone you invite joins the same team workspace and sees all of its competitors.
04 · Product & integration
Does SpyGlow integrate with Slack?
Yes, on Pro, Growth, and Teams. Signed Slack OAuth. Configure per-workspace which channel receives alerts and at what importance threshold (5 to 10).
Do you have a webhook for custom integrations?
Yes. Any incoming change above your importance threshold fires a JSON payload to any URL you configure. Docs on structure are in the in-app settings.
Is there an API?
A public API is not currently available. The integration paths today are Slack and webhooks.
Can SpyGlow monitor sites behind a login?
Not by default. SpyGlow monitors public web pages. If you need to track a specific gated page (e.g., a pricing page that requires sign-in), email us and we will discuss options on a case-by-case basis.
