How the table is read, what it can miss, and how long it is kept.
Is it free?
Yes. Without an account you can read 2 pricing pages a day. A free SpyGlow account gets 100 tool credits a month, and a pricing table uses 5.
How does it work?
SpyGlow opens the page as SpyGlowBot and reads it. Every plan, price and limit comes from the page and is linked to where the page says it. A value that cannot be found on the page is left out instead of guessed. Turn on "Show where each value is on the page" to see the line each one comes from.
Why is a price different from what I see?
The table shows the page as it first loads in our browser: its default monthly or yearly view, and the prices it shows a visitor from our servers. Prices behind a switch, a currency picker or a sign-in can differ, and a price shown only as an image cannot be read.
Does it work on any page?
On public pricing pages. Pages behind a login, sites that block automated visits and sites whose robots.txt keeps SpyGlowBot out are not read. A page with no prices on it ends without using a run.
How long is the table kept?
For 24 hours without an account. With an account, it stays in your tool history for your plan's history period: 7 days on Free, 30 days on Pro and 90 days on Growth and Teams.
Can I find out when their pricing changes?
Yes. Choose Track this pricing under the table. SpyGlow checks the page with your other competitor pages and tells you what changed. The Free plan watches 2 competitors with 3 pages each.
