Is the screenshot tool free?
Yes. Without an account you can take 5 screenshots a day. A free SpyGlow account gets 100 tool credits a month, and a screenshot uses 1 credit. Paid plans include more.
Why did a page not work?
The tool captures public pages only. A page behind a login, a site that blocks automated visits, or a site whose robots.txt asks SpyGlowBot not to visit is not captured. SpyGlow does not get around bot checks or logins.
How tall can a full-page screenshot be?
Up to 15,000 pixels. A longer page is cut at that height, and the result says so. Choose "First screen" to capture only what a visitor sees before scrolling.
How long is my screenshot kept?
For 24 hours without an account. With an account, it stays in your tool history for your plan's history period: 7 days on Free, 30 days on Pro and 90 days on Growth and Teams.
How does the tool load the page?
In a fresh browser with no cookies and no login, as SpyGlowBot. It waits for the page to load, removes common cookie banners and chat widgets, then captures it. A banner a site builds itself can still appear. It follows the site's robots.txt.
Can I find out when the page changes?
Yes. Choose "Watch this page" under the screenshot. SpyGlow then checks the page with your other competitor pages and tells you what moved. The Free plan watches 2 competitors with 3 pages each.
