Your company and brands
Fill in your company profile so answers fit your business, and set up a separate brand for each website you run.
SpyGlow compares your competitors with you. AskGlow, battle cards, content gap analyses and reports read your company profile to tailor what they tell you: what you sell, who you sell to and why customers pick you. With an empty profile, answers stay generic. A few minutes here makes the rest of SpyGlow more useful.
Open your profile
Click Your Domain in the sidebar. The page that opens is called Your Profile.
Fill it in from your website
Once your domain is set, click Analyze at the top of the page. After the first run the button reads Update. SpyGlow fills in what it can from your website, usually in about a minute, and you can keep working while it runs. Then check each tab and correct anything that is wrong.
| Plan | Profile updates |
|---|---|
| Free | 1 a month |
| Pro, Growth, Teams | No monthly limit |
The Usage page counts these as profile extractions. Click Update after your website changes, so the profile stays current.
What to fill in
| Tab | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Overview | Company name, industry, and a quick setup: what you do, your target customer and your business stage |
| Company | Industry, business stage, team size, funding stage, HQ location and LinkedIn URL |
| Product | What you do, your main use cases and your pricing model, plus the features and use cases found on your site |
| Positioning | Target customer, key differentiator, market category, geographic focus, positioning pillars, competitive advantages, and your short-term and long-term goals |
| Website | What SpyGlow found on your site |
What You Do and Target Customer are marked as required. Fill those in first, then your key differentiator and competitive advantages. Each tab has its own save button, such as Save positioning.
Run more than one brand
If you run more than one product or website, add each one as its own domain. Each domain gets its own company profile and its own competitor monitoring, SEO intelligence, content gap analysis and AI visibility tracking.
| Plan | Domains |
|---|---|
| Free | 1 |
| Pro | 3 |
| Growth | 5 |
| Teams | 10 |
Add a domain
- Open your account menu (your avatar) and choose Domains, or click Add domain at the top of Your Profile.
- Click Add domain, enter the domain without https:// or www, and click Add Domain.
- Switch to the new domain (see below) and click Analyze on Your Profile to fill in its profile.
Set your primary domain
Your primary domain is marked Primary and is used for default reports. To change it, open the three-dot menu next to another domain and choose Set as primary.
Archive a domain
Choose Archive from the domain's menu. While a domain is archived, its competitors are hidden. They come back when you restore it. To restore a domain, click Restore under Archived Domains. You need a free domain slot to restore one.
Switch the brand you are viewing
The domain switcher sits at the top of the sidebar. Click it and choose a domain. The one you choose is marked Active, and pages such as Dashboard, Competitors, Changes, Battle Cards, SEO Intelligence, AI Visibility and AskGlow then work on that brand.
