Your data
Download a copy of your SpyGlow data, or delete your account and the data in it yourself.
Your data belongs to you. You can download a copy of it at any time, and delete your account yourself, without writing to anyone.
Both are on the Settings page, which you open from the sidebar. Scroll to Your data at the bottom.
Download your data
Click Download my data. SpyGlow saves a JSON file to your computer.
The file holds:
- your profile and company profiles
- competitors, changes and monitoring reports
- battle cards and actions
- AskGlow conversations, and saved questions with their answers
- content gap analyses, keyword research and SEO audits
- AI visibility setup and results
It leaves out copies of competitor pages and screenshots, and secrets such as integration tokens and webhook addresses. For a very large account, the file keeps the most recent records and says in its notes which sections were shortened.
SpyGlow emails you each time your data is downloaded, so you would notice a download you did not make. You can download your data up to 3 times an hour.
Team data
If you own a team, your file has a separate section with the team's data. Only the team owner can download it. A member's file holds their own data and a short summary of the team.
Delete your account
- Click Delete account.
- Type your account email to confirm.
- Click Delete account permanently.
This deletes your competitors, monitoring history, snapshots and screenshots, changes, reports, battle cards, AskGlow conversations, SEO, keyword and AI visibility data, your profile and your sign-in. It cannot be undone, so download your data first if you might need it.
- If you pay for a plan, your subscription is cancelled first, so you are not charged again. The rest of the current period is not refunded.
- If you own a team with other members, remove them first.
- If you are a team member, you leave the team, and what you added to it stays with the team.
Your account is deleted when you confirm. You are signed out, and an email confirms the deletion. Billing records and security logs are kept where accounting, tax or security rules require them. The Privacy Policy commits to deleting all personal data within 30 days of account deletion, apart from what the law requires us to keep.
How your data is protected
- Other customers cannot see your competitive data. On the Teams plan, it is shared with the members of your team.
- Your browser connects to SpyGlow over HTTPS.
- The AI providers SpyGlow uses do not train their models on your data.
The Security page covers this in more detail. The Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how long we keep it and your rights.
